Khala Democracy Governance

Khala has one democracy referendum executed this week. The treasury has accumulated 22.59M PHA.

Khala Congress seat will increase to 8 people after the network upgrade. Congress seats are voted on and rotated every 24 hours.

Democracy Referendum

• #58: This referendum is from the Technical Committee, which proposes to enable HRMP for the Khala → Shiden network.

• #59: This referendum is from the Technical Committee. The proposal seeks to upgrade Khala Runtime to v1180. Contents include: increase Council seats to 8; allow StakePoolManager agents to call PhalaStakePool.restart_provide computing; synchronize RMRK pallets; synchronize Polkadot v0.9.27.

• #60: This referendum is from the Technical Committee. The proposal seeks to upgrade Khala Runtime to v1181. v1181 is a patch that adds runtime based on v1180.

Treasury Proposal

• #39: Treasury Proposal: This proposal comes from the Smart Liquidity Research team. The Smart Liquidity Research team will provide marketing services for Phala. Application Amount: 22000 PHA.

1. On September 14th, Phala Network held Afternoon with Polkadot Focusing on Cloud Services in Web3 in Berlin. Growth Leader Zoe delivered a speech on Cloud Services and Interoperability for Web3. Recap video is now available.

2. On September 15th, Growth Leader Zoe attended the NFT Gallery & Party with Polkadot in Berlin and delivered a speech, introduced PhalaWorld to the community. Recap video is now available.

3. On September 21st, Phala hosted Phala and Friend 003 Twitter Space and invited SubWallet as a guest to discuss how to make Polkadot and Kusama more accessible.
